NLA has a range of licences suitable for PR agencies.
PR Client Service Licence
The PR Client Service Licence grants PR agencies the right to supply articles from NLA represented publications to clients, in whatever format the client requires.
With this license The PR Agency pays a flat fee of £269.00 for each employee of its clients, to whom it supplies NLA content regardless of whether they supply the content directly or via a media monitoring service set up on the clients’ behalf.
For PR agencies with 5 or fewer staff, the PR Client Service License also allows for internal copying.
Standard PR Agency Licence
The standard PR agency licence also grants PR agencies the right to supply articles from NLA represented publications to clients. However, it differs from the PR Client Service licence in that all articles supplied to clients need to be itemised by client in terms of format (hard copy, web copy etc), content type (newspapers/magazines etc) and how they are delivered – email etc. The licence is charged on an itemised per client supplied basis. Click on the Price List link below to download the Standard PR Licence price list.
Other Agency Copying
If you monitor the media for your own agency purposes and circulate clips with your staff, your agency will need either a Simplified Licence or a Business Licence. If you circulate online content, then a Web End User Licence could be required. If your agency posts clips on their corporate website or social media pages they will need a Corporate Website Republishing Licence. An NLA account manager can help advise which option is most suitable.
PR agencies with 5 or fewer staff who only provide articles to clients and do no further copying need only apply for the PR Client Service Licence.
